six months down

whew. so at least we beat some of our friends...

andrea has received work and travel authorization. that means she can work here and travel to and fro, for now. still no word if she can just be a hoosier and hang out. she mentioned that the information she received was dated soon after when she sent it; meaning, immigration can work quickly, but on its own watch, which needs a new battery.

we are planning for a springtime visit from Peter Freund, Andrea's father, and a trip to Germany come september of this year. with work being so kooky and the job market being total poo right now, our hopes are hopes with money set aside, but no true travel plans set. if you wanna help us see some friends we LITERALLY havent seen in years, let us know.

other than that we have chips in our wedding gift dishes (crate and barrel is the ikea of the rich - and i wish we would have really picked out a china set), we still drive to work drinking home made coffee, and our cats are so rad it hurts (seriously, Finn scratches, a lot).

blessed be the best friends that find their love in each other.

Bro...the 2009 Subaru w/ 8K miles we were driving got 18 mpg on the HIGHWAY! The 1997 Honda Odyssey we bought with 148K miles on it got well over 20 mpg on the highway. The reason we didn't like the Subaru was the visibility. It was like driving a cave. Yeah, it was slick and all but not for $30k!!!! Love you bro.
